Hitting on All Cylinders: From Netflix’s Earnings Miss to the Gold Rush Collapse

 Date: October 22, 2025 | 04:53 AM CDT

Well, folks, it feels like we’re hitting on all cylinders here! From threading the needle through last week’s market turmoil, calling the top in gold and gold miners - "Talk of the Town" -,  yesterday’ breakout on $WEBL, not to mention the setup on Crypto; and yesterday's bearish call on Netflix, to it’s been a wild ride.  All documented for your review:

Yesterday, I teased a deep dive into gold miners, and with gold’s double top confirmed and the sector crumbling, the timing’s spot-on. Let’s start with Netflix, pivot to the gold rush collapse, and sprinkle in some trading wisdom—including a shoutout to my AI sidekick, Grok.

  • Netflix Bearish Call

Check out my tweet from 20:16 UTC yesterday, flagging $NFLX’s failure to break $1,267.10.

Of course, that $NFLX call was made with only minutes to spare - tough to pull off a trade in the final minutes without being left looking like a deer in the headlights - but with Grok’s help, you might have been able to zero in on some put action or hedged your longs by selling calls... Grok’s speed is a game-changer. Grok/AI linkFollow

$GDX Gold Miners - 60 min. chart view - Guess what? We're no longer looking for a top, we're searching for a bottom, and staring into a bottomless pit - looking at market futures. I suspect this is because the big fish are planning to start today's trading session off with another shakeout, followed by some heavy call buying, months out.

As you can plainly see the trend on the 60 min chart view is broken.

Global X Gold Explorers there's your stophunt being taken out. If you've been following me closely over the past few years then you should already have a good idea, who I think may have pulled the rug on the Gold trade.

The next most obvious target is the 50 day ma, and considering the fact that these are the only targets that seem to matter, these days, this should be an easy trade.     I suspect we're only in wave "A" (the first leg down, in a massive reversal), and possibly heading into a multi-year bear market, but wave B could look like a face melting rally that lasts months.
